NRC has instituted Golden Jubilee merit cum means scholarship for Chemical Engineering students in this region. This scheme is open to undergraduate / dual degree Students of II / III / IV year Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology studying in College / Institute / University run by Govt. in North India and whose parental income does not exceed Rs. 4.0 Lacs (Rupees Four Lacs) in a year from all sources.

The salient features of the scheme are as under:-

• The scholarship amount is Rs. 15,000/- each and it is expected that awardees would refund the scholarship money received in a maximum of 10 installments starting 2 years after their graduation or employment whichever is later. The money so returned would be added to corpus fund. This will facilitate awarding more number of scholarships and / or to increase the value of scholarship.
• Total number of scholarships is 15 each year, out of these 3 are reserved for girls.
• The students who have received scholarships for two consecutive years are not eligible for third year.
• The applications are invited in the 3rd week of July every year through the head of Deptt. of Chemical Engineering of respective colleges
